The Yamaha YZF-R1 RN01 from 1998 to 1999 marked a turning point in the supersport segment. Its compact engine layout and unprecedented power-to-weight ratio set new standards at the time.

The RN01 features a sharp front fairing, narrow side panels and clearly defined tank and tail sections. These unique shapes require generation-specific decal kits, as later R1 models differ significantly in bodywork design.
